Active Release Technique

Active Release Technique

Active Release Technique focuses on the places where muscles, tendons, and nerves get stuck together and start to limit motion. During treatment, I apply specific tension to the involved tissue while guiding you through a precise movement. This combination helps break up adhesions, restore glide, and reduce the tight, pinching sensations that often show up with overuse injuries.

I commonly use this method for issues like desk-related neck and shoulder pain, runner's hip and knee problems, and forearm and hand strain from repetitive work. Sessions are interactive-you'll feel the tissue change under my hand as you move. As mobility improves, strength and coordination exercises can actually take hold, rather than fighting against constant restriction. Most patients notice cleaner movement, less "catching," and a significant drop in that deep, achy muscle tension they've been living with.
